X-Lander X-treme is a jogging stroller for active parents.

Its revolutionary design gives the user more freedom of movement while running. When folded, the strolley becomes extremely compact. The concept includes a two-wheel design, where the person pushing the stroller becomes the third point of support. The frame is attached to an adjustable user worn belt, which allows for hands-free driving. The swivel joints allow for reversing the position relative to the stroller - you can both pull and push.

The model is equipped with an innovative system of folding castors that switch to a horizontal position at the push of a button and can also move to an upright position, allowing parents to safely detach themselves from the stroller. The X-treme is designed for difficult routes where a standard trolley cannot cope with the challenges of the terrain. It is also equipped with lights to facilitate use in various lighting conditions.

Analysis

At the analytical phase, we took a look at existing products on the market, defined the features that our design must meet, formulated ergonomic assumptions for both the child and the parent and created a moodboard with visual inspirations.
Concept
We started with conceptual sketches showing the functions and elements of the construction. We created a model with rotating wheels, moving along the frame after folding. We tested the model in motion, with or without load. We worked out the details in 3d program, in which the final model was made.
